CSM flexible Vacuum-Insulated Hoses (VIH) are maintenance-free cryogenic transfer solutions engineered with advanced super-insulation technology to deliver reliable thermal performance in both static and dynamic applications. Designed for flexibility, durability, and efficiency, these hoses support a wide range of cryogenic fluids while minimizing heat ingress and product losses. Available in static or dynamic vacuum configurations, CSM VIH utilize coaxial or triaxial bellows construction to provide exceptional flexibility. Lightweight stainless-steel materials reduce cool-down losses and improve handling, while optional stainless-steel stripwound or wire-braided protective sleeves enhance mechanical strength and extend service life in demanding environments.

Hose Types & Configuration

CSM offers a comprehensive range of vacuum-insulated hose designs to meet diverse application requirements:

SemiFlex: A semi-rigid hose that resists sagging and features smoother internal corrugation for improved flow performance and reduced heat leak. Available in lengths up to 18 meters (59 ft), making it ideal for long-run piping installations.
CryoFlex: Engineered with increased flexibility to accommodate installation offsets and misalignment in rigid vacuum-insulated piping systems. Available in sizes up to DN50 (2").
UltraFlex: Designed for applications requiring frequent movement, this hose provides an excellent dynamic bend radius and is armored with stainless-steel stripwound protection for superior durability and flexibility.
TriFlex: Incorporates an additional annular layer for vapor return, ensuring vapor-free liquid nitrogen delivery to critical processes such as MBE systems and LN₂ dosing applications.
PolyFlex: Rated for pressures up to 31.0 bar (450 psi), optimized for Polycold® and thin-film vacuum deposition systems requiring stable cryogenic performance.
HeFlex: Purpose-built for liquid helium transfer, featuring a bespoke stinger tube and Linde bayonet connection for seamless one-to-one replacement of existing helium hoses.
