Liquid Nitrogen Dosing
NovoDoser precisely injects liquid nitrogen into containers for food and beverage packaging. This process pressurizes lightweight packaging for added strength, extends shelf life by creating an inert atmosphere, and prevents oxidation—enhancing product quality and integrity.
Watch the video below to explore more applications with NovoDoser!
Pressurization: The rapid evaporation and expansion of LN2 within closed containers generate controlled internal pressure, prevents hot filled product from paneling, reinforces container structural integrity and stacking capabilities, eliminating deformation during transportation and storage.
Lightweighting: LN2-generated internal pressure enables thinner container walls without compromising structural integrity, reduces raw material usage, lowers shipping costs, and promotes sustainable, eco-friendly packaging solutions.
Inerting: Introducing LN2 into food and beverage packaging or storage containers reduces oxygen levels that preserves freshness, flavor, and product quality while extending shelf life.
How it Works
LN2 is supplied to NovoDoser through a vacuum-insulated pipes from a storage tank.
NovoDoser system detects the presence of a container and dispense the necessary amount of LN2 into the container.
The LN2 droplets rapidly evaporate into gaseous N2 by 700 times volume and fills the container's headspace at the desired pressure.
