Warranty Coverage Overview

CSM provides warranty coverage against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to proper installation, operation, and maintenance in accordance with CSM guidelines. For vacuum-insulated products, we also offer vacuum integrity warranties, ensuring long-term thermal performance and system efficiency.


What is Covered

Our warranty typically covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Vacuum loss in vacuum-insulated products (where applicable)
  • Functional failure of eligible mechanical and electrical components
  • Workmanship for complete systems supplied and commissioned by CSM

Note: Coverage period and scope vary by product category.


Warranty Period Highlights

Typical warranty coverage includes:

  • Vacuum-insulated products: up to 1–10 years, depending on product type
  • Controllers & electronic components: 6 months
  • System workmanship (CSM-supplied systems): 1 year
  • Consumable / wear parts (e.g. seals, O-rings, filters): limited or excluded

What is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear or consumable components
  • Improper installation, misuse, or operation outside specified limits
  • Unauthorized modification or third-party repairs
  • Damage during transportation not arranged by CSM
  • Cosmetic defects that do not affect product function
  • Failure caused by contamination, corrosion, or incompatible media

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To ensure fast and effective support, please follow these steps:

1. Inspect products immediately upon receipt
2. Report any issues promptly via email
3. Provide photos, videos, and supporting documentation
4. Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) before returning any product
5. Ship the product according to CSM return instructions
